Changed the oil in my truck this weekend :)

Hello guys, hope everyone is well.  Lori complains that I don't blog enough so I am trying to blog more. Doesn't mean that it will happen lol

Eventful weekend for me. I finally accomplished the oil change. I had to remove the entire skid plate, which was actually three sections, and a royal pain in the butt. Then the bolt for the oil pan was rusted to the pan, so we had to put coat it in WD-40.  After that is was all milk and honey. Well, oil and dirt? I don't know, but it went really easy. We finished up just before the rain started. Just got to get a few minutes to put the damn skid plates back on. I would not want to be driving the highways without it. With my luck, I would do some major damage to the underside of the truck. Anyway, all set to do the Tundra now, even though the Tundra has not moved since February. Poor baby, it is the best truck out of the two.
Sunday, my friend and I went out to Griffin Valley and went for a ride. I rode a stubborn old horse named Banner, whom once he made up his mind that he was done and going back to the barn, flat out refused to move in any direction other than home.  I would kick and prod, and spin him and he just would not move. Finally, we gave up as our time was almost done anyway. It was frustrating, because I have never had a problem with a horse not doing what I asked before. But it was a beautiful day for a ride in some beautiful country and Lauren is always great company. She rode an awesome little horse named Jacob, who had apparently not been under saddle for awhile. You really would not know it. He did everything she asked with no issue, and seemed to have some giddy up and go to him. Lauren has worked for Griffin Valley every summer for going on 4 years, helping run the day camp, so the Griffin boys often tell her to come out and ride and put her on horses they need to do some work on.
Anyway, off to work on some math now.....maybe I will eat first lol  Love you guys; talk soon xoxoxoxoxoxo
